KIRSTEN NEWS
Costume Gala = Kirsten attended this years Costume Institute Benefit Gala on May 4th. The annual star-studded event was held at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art in New York.
Hallelujah = On May 17th Kirsten attended a show by singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
Kirsten In The Kitchen = Kirsten attended The Kitchen Spring Gala Benefit at Capitale in New York on May 20th. The event was held to honor attourney Willard B Taylor & artist Tony Oursler.
Ambassador Kiki = Kirsten has been appointed as a "Celebrity Ambassador" for the charity "Stand Up To Cancer". Also appointed were Fran Drescher, Marcia Cross, David Archuleta, Dana Delany, Sharon Osbourne, Patrick Wilson, Mandy Moore, Sofia Vassilieva, Dave Annable, and Sally Field. They will all be involved in raising funds for the charity.
Dateline Dunst = Amazingly Kirsten hasn't been romantically linked with anyone this month!
MOVIE NEWS
Kirsten & Emile To Go Upside Down? = Kirsten & actor Emile Hirsch are reportedly in negotiations to appear in French director Juan Solanas' English-language film "Upside Down". The film is set in an alternatine reality where two worlds co-exist together, one "upside down" above the other and with it's own inverted gravity. Although the two worlds can see & communicate with each other their different gravities mean travel between the two worlds is impossible. Adam is a young man who falls in love with a girl from the other world called Eve. Adam is not going to let a little thing like the law of science stop him from meeting Eve!
Spider-Man 4 Update = Director Sam Raimi has confirmed that he has held a meeting with Kirsten regarding her participation in Spider-Man 4. As expected Kirsten told him that she is happy to sign on for the fourth film as long as the script, and her role in the film, is strong. Sam also confirmed that the first draft of the script should be ready in the next few weeks, and that principal filming is scheduled to start in February 2010.
