Kirsten Dunst is heading to Hawaii.

The Melancholia star will receive the Pathfinder Award at this year’s Maui Film Festival.

The award “honors an actor or actress whose eclectic choices and charismatic performances encourage us all to expand our definition of what it means to be human.”

Dunst, who has been in more than 25 films, was most recently spotted filming Anchorman 2.

In addition to Dunst, the festival also announced today that 21 Jump Street star Brie Larson will be given the Rising Star Award.

“They are both not only beautiful women inside and out but are also talented nearly beyond description and uniquely passionate in their portrayals of the characters they bring to life,” festival director Barry Rivers said in a statement.

The festival kicks off June 12 with the famed Celestial Cinema screenings once again taking place at the Wailea Gold & Emerald Golf Course.

Dunst and Larson join a long list of Hollywood A-listers who have been honored at the festival including Jake Gyllenhaal, Andrew Garfield, Olivia Wilde, Megan Fox, Zac Efron, Dunst’s boyfriend Garrett Hedlund, The Hunger Games’ Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, Claire Danes, Clint Eastwood, and director Tim Burton, among many others.

E!’s own Marc Malkin will continue his years-long tradition of hosting a Q&A with all of the honorees at their individual tributes.
